"You satisfy me more than the richest feast. I will praise you with songs of joy." -Psalms 63:5 NLT

"The Bible. The Word. Is a feast laid before you. View it as a banquet...not a book of laws, regulations, and restrictions. The perspective with which you approach and read the Word of God changes everything. It is not a dry, tasteless, boring text. It is fresh, alive, sweet, rich, good, and satisfying.

How you approach the Word is what you will get out of it.

Look at David's hunger for My laws. He longed for them. They were his delight."

"My soul will be satisfied as with fat and rich food..." -Psalms 63:5a ESV
"How sweet are your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth!" -Psalm 119:103

There is a reason that manna tasted like honey cakes. Bread from heaven is sweet!
